AKA Warrior Cup

Since 1964, the AKA Warrior Cup has established itself as a premiere event attracting the world’s best competitors. The event is open to all styles of martial arts and takes place in the amazing city of Chicago, Illinois at the downtown Hyatt Regency located in the heart of the city.

The name “AKA Warrior Cup”derives from the coveted Warrior Cup awards. Warrior Cups are 70 pound, five-foot cups. The cups are awarded to the overall champions in 6 black belt categories for both adults and juniors. In addition, for under belts, the AKA Warrior Cup awards mini-Warrior Cups for overall under belt forms and weapons champions.

Even first time competitors can find a place at the 2019 AKA Warrior Cup.  The staff works to welcome and assist first time attendees and beginning competitors. Experienced competitors will love the level of competition, the professional atmosphere and the location.

This event boasts electronic, professional and accurate scorekeeping with the premiere Uventex system. The AKA Warrior Cup Night Show takes place on Saturday evening. All spectators and competitors can watch top competitors from the event go head-to-head for a chance at one of the 6 Warrior Cups.
